Samantha Johnson is a native of Kentucky, a mother, advocate for social change and is actively committed to amplifying voices within marginalized spaces. As a multidisciplinary creative, her work spans experiential marketing and events, social media management, and product design. Recent campaigns include HBO’s Lovecraft Country & In Treatment, Netflix Original Nappily Ever After, Netflix Is A Joke: Essence Festival as a Producer for Verb.

She is also a contract creative for KY For KY, and in 2021 launched hianxiety.org, a global, SEL (social emotional learning), mental health awareness campaign from 216K followers to a permanent online resource for all. At a pivotal moment in her career, Samantha left her 5-year role as Director of The Night Market (Lexington, KY’s 8-year old first Friday festival).
