Event Details

It is, often times, hard for agencies to learn how to best serve a nonprofit. It is also difficult from the nonprofits end to figure out how to efficiently work with an agency, specifically on pro bono projects. This panel of Designers, Project Managers and Nonprofit Clients will discuss how to establish the best working partnership. Whether you work for a nonprofit or an agency, this talk is for you.

"We would love to work with more nonprofits. It's just hard because they don't have enough money" is not an excuse. So let's stop using it as one.

About VIA

At the heart of VIA Studio, we are all designers. Our approach is simple: Design for your audience. Whether that’s a simple website, a branding system, or a more complicated application, we have the expertise to be your partner.

We accept branding and business challenges with enthusiasm, producing measurable, impactful results. We believe in the right idea over the big one. We keep a steady focus on the future and build toward it. We set our silos on fire to work as a team. You’re a part of that team, because above all else, we value the relationship.

About Center for Nonprofit Excellence

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence was established in 1999 through the work of many. Chief among them was Kevin Connelly (our Founding CEO), the Donors Forum of Kentuckiana, Metro United Way, and Metro Louisville.

Our membership stands at over 450 groups and individuals, and we serve nearly a thousand more folks in the community. As we move boldly into the future, we’ll continue to bring our passion for helping you to the table. Ultimately, we were founded to bring excellence to Louisville’s nonprofits by bringing them together. We’re proud to continue this work with you every day.
