Get a chance to visit Anchal's new design studio located in Portland, West Louisville & discover how the team uses design thinking to innovate traditional non-profit programs & industrial textile production. Learn how designers & sisters Colleen Clines & Maggie Clines draw inspiration from simple imagery for their contemporary home goods & accessories collections. Colleen & Maggie will be sharing their design secrets that had Apartment Therapy awarding their design "Best in Market" at the NY NOW trade show this past February!

Plus you'll have the opportunity to tour the stock room & shop new product!

About Colleen Clines

Colleen values how design can become the tool for sustainable solutions to gender inequality, social injustice and environmental degradation. She combines this passion as a social entrepreneur and impact designer through her work at Anchal. Colleen leads the overall strategic and operational planning for Anchal’s programs, partnerships, expansion and execution of its mission.

A Louisville native with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky, Colleen earned her Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). In 2013, she was named one of Public Interest Design's Top Global 100 designers.

About Maggie Clines

Responsible for maintaining Anchal’s design aesthetic in website content, marketing, product, and strategic planning.Maggie holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of Kentucky & shares Anchal's belief that design can be the catalyst for social innovation, and education is the first step to creating positive change. As Anchal Project’s Creative Director, Maggie has successfully developed, designed, and grown Anchal’s brand into an internationally recognized organization. In addition, Maggie has successfully secured funding for Anchal through Google and Dining for Women with marketing videos and visual storytelling. Her experience in branding, design and marketing gives Anchal the ideal lead for creating awareness about the project and developing distribution channels.
