AIGA Louisville is now accepting event submissions for our third annual Louisville Design Week, a six-day celebration of the creativity in Louisville. Our 2017 LDW theme, “Diverge/ Converge” focuses on Louisville’s unique creative culture and the people and things that make it so weird & wonderful.
AIGA Louisville, along with our event partners, Power and the Hite Art Institute are very excited to be hosting our keynote speaker, author, curator and director of the Graphic Design MFA program at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Ellen Lupton. With a special Lunch & Learn at Sullivan College of Technology and Design earlier in the day, she’ll present on “Design for the Senses” at the Speed Art Museum on Thursday, August 10th.
We have had a great response from participating organizations the past couple of years, and are now calling on you for submissions to create and/or host events throughout the week to make this year’s Louisville Design Week the best yet!
